Sysstem®-ZN is a foliar zinc fertilizer that can be used at all plant growth stages to correct zinc deficiencies. Sysstem-ZN is particularly effective at bud-break, pre-bloom, and post-harvest when plant demand for zinc peaks. The elemental zinc in Sysstem-ZN is linked to a unique translocating mobility-ion that enhances the nutrient uptake and mobility within the plant. Sysstem- ZN’s special form makes it significantly more effective than standard zinc foliar products that have limited uptake and plant availability.

Zinc plays many important functions within the plant. It regulates various hormone functions that are necessary to ensure proper bud break, root and vascular development and optimal leaf size. Field results show applying Sysstem-ZN early season can dramatically increase leaf size, maximizing total photosynthesis surface area – a key factor in a plant’s ability to support and size a heavy crop load. Because calcium transportation occurs through the vascular system, zinc plays a critical role in maximizing calcium levels, which are critical in building cell wall thickness, an essential factor in improved disease tolerance, fruit firmness and overall crop quality. Suggested Uses

Tomatoes, Peppers, Cucumbers

Apply 1 to 4 quarts per acre per application. Apply the first application 7 days after transplanting, thinning or at second true leaf stage. Apply subsequent applications at 10-14 day intervals as needed to correct deficiencies or supplement nutritional requirements.

Lettuce, Spinach and Other Leafy Vegetables as well as Broccoli, Cauliflower and Other Brassica Varieties

Strawberries

Apply 1 to 4 quarts per acre per application. Apply the first application 7-10 days after transplanting. Reapply at 7-14 day intervals through first bloom.
