Sysstem®-MG is a foliar magnesium fertilizer which can be used at all plant growth stages to correct magnesium deficiencies but is particularly effective early season when plant demand for magnesium peaks. The elemental magnesium in Sysstem-MG is linked to a unique translocating mobility-ion that enhances the nutrient uptake and mobility within the plant. Sysstem-MG’s special form makes it significantly more effective than standard foliar magnesium products that have limited uptake and plant availability. Proper nutrient balance is critical to maintaining overall plant health and for proper physiological development.

As the central element in chlorophyll, magnesium is critical in effective chlorophyll development and thus photosynthesis. Peak demand timing for magnesium is early season as leaf and chlorophyll development occurs. Because zinc is critical in leaf development and size, magnesium and zinc are synergistic nutrients and are needed simultaneously. Suggested Uses

Tomatoes, Peppers, Cucumbers

Apply 1 to 2 quarts per acre per application. Apply the first application 7 days after transplanting, thinning or at second true leaf stage. Apply subsequent applications at 10-14 day intervals as needed to correct deficiencies or supplement nutritional requirements.

Lettuce, Spinach and Other Leafy Vegetables as well as Broccoli, Cauliflower and Other Brassica Varieties

Apply 1 to 2 quarts per acre per application. Apply the first application 7 days after transplanting, thinning, or at second true leaf stage. Apply one or two subsequent applications at 10 to 14 day intervals or as needed to supplement nutritional requirements.

Corn, Beans and Peas

Apply 1 to 2 quarts per acre per application. A first application can be ground applied with starter fertilizers if carefully mixed in a dilute solution (contact Agro-K for more information). Otherwise, apply the first application at the second or third leaf. Apply one to two subsequent applications at 10 to 14 day intervals or as needed to supplement nutritional requirements.

Strawberries

Apply 1 to 2 quarts per acre per application. Apply the first application 7-10 days after transplanting. Reapply at 7-14 day intervals through first bloom.
