Sysstem®-ZMag


Sysstem®-ZMag is a foliar zinc and magnesium fertilizer that can be used at all plant growth stages to correct zinc and/or magnesium deficiencies. Sysstem-ZMag is particularly effective at bud-break, pre-bloom, and postharvest when plant demand for zinc and magnesium peaks. The elemental zinc and magnesium in Sysstem-ZMag are linked to a phosphite ion that enhances the nutrient uptake and mobility within the plant. Sysstem-ZMag’s special form makes it significantly more effective than standard zinc/magnesium foliar products that have limited uptake and plant availability.

Zinc plays many important functions within the plant. It regulates various hormone functions that are necessary to ensure proper bud break, root and vascular development and optimal leaf size. As the central element in chlorophyll, magnesium is critical in effective chlorophyll development and thus photosynthesis. Peak demand timing for magnesium is early season as leaf and chlorophyll development occurs. Because zinc is critical in leaf development and size, magnesium and zinc are synergistic nutrients needed simultaneously. Field results show applying Sysstem-ZMag early season can dramatically increase leaf size, maximizing total photosynthesis surface area a key factor in a plant’s ability to support and size a heavy crop load.

Sysstem-ZMag is part of Agro-K’s Sysstem foliar line. Sysstem products are designed to work together to maximize crop quality. They are compatible with each other and most pesticides, making them easy to integrate into spray programs.

Directions For Use
Sysstem-ZMag is intended for foliar use. Foliar: Apply 1 to 5 quarts per acre with sufficient water for thorough coverage. Product can be applied at 7 to 14 day intervals for a maximum of 5 times during the growing season. Avoid applications when temperatures are extreme (above 90°F). Foliar fertilization is intended to supplement standard ground fertility programs and will not by itself provide all nutrients normally required by agricultural crops. Suggested Uses

Tomatoes, Peppers, Cucumbers

Apply 1 to 4 quarts per acre per application. Apply the first application 7 days after transplanting, thinning or at second true leaf stage. Apply subsequent applications at 14 day intervals or as needed to correct deficiencies or supplement nutritional requirements.

Strawberries

Apply 1 to 4 quarts per acre per application. Apply the first application 7-10 days after transplanting. Reapply at 7-14 day intervals through first bloom. Zinc and magnesium can be applied together with during spring and postharvest applications. Almonds, Walnuts and Other Nut Crops

Apply 1 to 4 quarts per acre per application. Apply first application at pink bud break. Apply a subsequent applications during rapid leaf growth and at hull split. Reapply Sysstem®- ZMag within 2-3 weeks post harvest to prepare tree and buds for next season. Zinc and magnesium can be applied together with during spring and postharvest applications. Plums, Peaches, Cherries and Other Stone Fruits

Apply 1 to 4 quarts per acre per application. Apply first application postbloom just as leaves are developing rapidly. Apply 1 or 2 subsequent applications at 7 10 day intervals. Reapply Sysstem®-ZMag within 2-3 weeks post harvest to prepare tree and buds for next season. Zinc and magnesium can be applied together with during spring and post-harvest applications.
